OUR GOALS:

·To reduce impound and euthanasia rates at L.A.
County and Kern shelters.

·To educate the public to assist in eradicating the companion animal overpopulation crisis.

·To create a sustainable, self-supporting mobile spay/neuter program that will become a part of the communities for many years.

·To make spay/neuter affordable for everyone

For years, animal shelters have seen an increasing number of homeless animals and euthanasia rates in excess of 60% due to too few adoptions. Despite the best efforts of shelter staff and volunteers to find pets new homes, their efforts cannot keep up with the endless stream of animals coming in the doors day after day.

Estimates range from eight million to ten million cats and dogs are put down in U.S. shelters each year. Often these animals are the offspring of cherished family pets, even purebreds. Maybe someone’s cat or dog got out just that one time or maybe the litter was intentional, but efforts to find enough good homes failed. Spay/neuter is the only permanent, 100-percent effective method of birth control for dogs and cats and a proven way to reduce the vast numbers of animals who are born only to die prematurely and without a family who loves them. Learn more about why you should spay or neuter your pet. The most effective way, and many believe the only way, to stem this tide of despair is to end the uncontrolled breeding of pets. How can this be done? By having more pets spayed and neutered - in fact, that is the only way!

Our team will be out on the streets in a mobile clinic, sponsored by Coalition for Pets and Public Safety, with all of the latest and best in veterinary equipment. Our veterinarians and veterinary technicians are trained in Quickspay and Pediatric sterilization procedures.
Our staff has extensive experience in providing high quality spay/neuter services to the public.

We will provide donated microchips free of charge.
We will provide vaccinations, if the owner elects,
at a reasonable cost.
